Orion strengthens Animal Health by acquiring Inovet’s animal health business

We are pleased to announce that Orion is joining forces with Belgian private company Inovet BV by acquiring its wholly owned subsidiary V.M.D. NV and all companies belonging to V.M.D.

VMD is a veterinary pharmaceuticals company specialising in medicines and health products for livestock. It also has a product portfolio for companion animals and minor species. The company, known by its Inovet brand, has a production site in Arques, France, logistics and packaging operations in Arendonk, Belgium, as well as its own sales operations in Belgium, France, Hungary and Vietnam.

The friendly acquisition will enable the creation of a strong combined Animal Health business with further opportunities for growth. The combined entity becomes a strong player in the animal health market with an enhanced geographical presence and product portfolio, covering both livestock and companion animals.
